Register yourself as unemployed at the job centre - Jobnet.dk
At Jobnet.dk you can register as unemployed. If you lose your job, you should register yourself as unemployed on the first day that you are unemployed. If you do not have internet access, you can approach your local job centre or unemployment insurance fund and get help to become registered. In order to receive unemployment benefits from your unemployment insurance fund, you need to be registered as unemployed on jobnet.dk.
How to
- Click Start, then click 'Meld dig ledig'.
- Select the option to apply for unemployment benefits (‘Jeg søger om dagpenge’).
- Indicate the types of jobs you are looking for.
- Enter details about your work experience and education.
- When you’re ready, submit your information by clicking ‘Meld dig ledig’.
After you complete the registration, a confirmation will appear on your screen. You’ll also receive a copy in your Jobnet mailbox, called ‘Beskedbakke’.
