Register yourself as unemployed with the municipality - Jobnet.dk
At Jobnet.dk you can register as unemployed. If you lose your job, you should register yourself as unemployed on the first day that you are unemployed. If you do not have internet access, you can approach the municipality or your unemployment insurance fund and get help to become registered. In order to receive unemployment benefits from your unemployment insurance fund, you need to be registered as unemployed on jobnet.dk.
How to
- Click Start, then click 'Meld dig ledig' (register as unemployed).
- Select the option to 'Jeg søger om dagpenge' (apply for unemployment benefits).
- Indicate the types of jobs you are looking for.
- Enter details about your work experience and education.
- When you are ready, submit your information by clicking ‘Meld dig ledig’ (register as unemployed).
After you complete the registration, a confirmation will appear on your screen. You will also receive a copy in your Jobnet mailbox, called ‘Beskedbakke’.
