If you and your spouse wish to file for separation or divorce, you can do so here.
If you are not in agreement, the case may still be started. In both cases, the case is opened by one of you completing and sending the application form.
A fee of DKK 825 is payable for separation and divorce applications (2024). The fee for negotiation of terms is DKK 2,150 (2024).
How to
Complete the application form, sign with MitID, pay the fee and send the form in digitally.
When you have completed the application, signed with MitID and paid the fee with a payment card, the case will be registered with the Agency of Family Law (Familieretshuset).
Once you have completed and sent in the application, it may take up to 24 hrs before you receive a receipt via Digital Post.
