Send life certificate - without MitID

Send life certificate - without MitID. Self-service

As a pensioner living abroad, you must confirm that you are alive every year. You do this by submitting a life certificate.

You only need to submit a life certificate if Udbetaling Danmark has asked you to do so. If you are not registered for Digital Post from Udbetaling Danmark, it is your responsibility to have an address where you can receive physical mail abroad.

Did you receive a letter about life certificate for 2026, you must submit the life certificate so that Udbetaling Danmark has it no later than 31 August 2026.

If you hold a power of attorney for a pensioner living abroad, you will receive an informational letter, but it is the pensioner themselves who must sign their own their own life certificate.
