Send life certificate
Once a year, pensioners abroad are requested by Udbetaling Danmark to prove that they are still alive. Pensioners have to send both Life certificate and Declaration of marital status. For pensioners in Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia, however, there is no such Life certificate procedure.
Your Life certificate and Declaration of marital status must be sent as early as to come to hand by 31 May 2017.
Re-completion and signature
The box in the Life certificate in which to state your address is to be completed only in the case of change of address.
Please have two persons confirm by their signature on the Life certificate that you are still alive. In stead of the signature of such witnesses, you could have a public authority of your country of residence put its stamp and signature on your Life certificate.
Your Declaration of Marital Status must be signed by yourself.
Please send it by ordinary mail to Udbetaling Danmark, International Pension, Kongens Vænge 8, DK-3400 Hillerød – the envelope should be marked: "LEVEATTEST". Or scan it and send it by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
