If you have holiday remaining from the last calendar year, LG will consider all or parts of your holiday to have been taken during your notice period.
This also applies to new holiday entitlements if your notice period extends beyond 1 May when the new holiday year starts.
Notice of holiday
Your employer may have notified you that you must take any remaining holiday during your notice period. If no notice is given, notice will be given automatically when you are released from your duties.
- You must take your main holiday if three months' notice plus your holiday can be accommodated up until the end of your notice period.
- You must take your remaining holiday if one month's notice plus your holiday can be accommodated up until the end of your notice period.
Main holiday and remaining holiday
Your holiday is divided into:
- main holiday – up to the first 15 days
- remaining holiday – over and above the 15 days.
Holiday allowance or holiday with pay
For all days of holiday taken, you are entitled to either holiday allowance or paid holiday.
