The Danish language courses for newly arrived adult foreign nationals are offered at language centres located nationwide. Here, instruction in Danish language and culture is provided to help recently arrived foreign nationals operate in Danish workplaces and society.
The Danish language courses are divided into three courses that are designed to match the participants' level of education.
-
Danish Course 1 for students who have no or a poor educational background
-
Danish Course 2 for students who have a short educational background
-
Danish Course 3 for students who have a lower or upper secondary or higher educational background.
The three Danish language courses are divided into six modules and can be completed with a Danish language exam.
Furthermore, newly arrived labour migrants can attend a language course specifically tailored labour migrants (Intro-Danish). Intro-Danish consists of five modules each comprising 50 hours of tuition.
