If you took holiday during the holiday year, from 1 October after the end of the holiday year you can claim uncollected holiday allowance for up to five years. You claim your holiday allowance by contacting the holiday fund to which your holiday allowance was transferred from your employer.
You must provide documentation that you have taken holiday from
- your employer at the time of taking holiday
- your unemployment fund if you received benefit from the fund
- your place of duty if you took holiday during compulsory military service
- the local authority social services in other cases.
If your holiday allowance was paid to FerieKonto, you must submit documentation to Arbejdsmarkedets Feriefond, Otto Mønsteds Gade 5, 1571 Copenhagen V.
If your holiday allowance was not paid to FerieKonto, you must submit documentation to the holiday fund to which your employer transferred your holiday allowance. Contact the employer from which you earned the holiday allowance to get the name of the holiday fund.
