When experiencing a 30 minutes delay or more, you can make use of alternative forms of transportation to reach the intended metro station. An alternative mode of transport must be publicly available, for instance a taxi, a bicycle, an electric scooter or a City Car. The Metro covers expenses up to DKK 300 (2025).
Travel guarantee when using the metro
If the metro is delayed more than 30 minutes, expenses for alternative transport will be covered up to DKK 300 (2024)

Does the travel guarantee only cover metro stations?
Yes, the travel guarantee will only cover trips between metro stations, and not destinations points that are beyond the metro stations.
Be aware that the travel guarantee only applies to the delayed line, meaning M1/M2 or M3/M4, and the travel guarantee is only valid for 3 months following the delay.
What do I need to get my expenses covered?
