Send life certificate (pension abroad) - eID
Send life certificate (pension abroad) - eID. Self-service
As a pensioner living abroad, you must confirm that you are alive every year. You do this by submitting a life certificate.
You only need to submit a life certificate if Udbetaling Danmark has asked you to do so. If you have eID and are registered for Digital Post, you will receive the letter about the life certificate in your digital mailbox.
Did you receive a letter about life certificate for 2026, you must submit the life certificate so that Udbetaling Danmark has it no later than 31 August 2026.
If you hold a power of attorney for a pensioner living abroad, you will receive an informational letter, but it is the pensioner themselves who must submit the life certificate here on borger.dk/lifeindenmark.dk using eID or MitID.
