You must be able to identify yourself
You must always be able to identify yourself with, for example, a driving licence or national identity card if requested by the authorities. However, you do not need to bring your passport when you are a Nordic citizen.
Stay for more than 3 months: Register your place of residence
If you plan to stay in Denmark for more than 3 months, you must register your place of residence. You register your place of residence at your local municipality or at one of the International Citizen Service centres (ICS):
